Every now and the, we quilters work long and hard on a quilt top, only to wonder if we actually like it when it's all finished.
This was one of those quilts for my customer, Heather. She brought it in saying that she just didn't like it, but she thought she might as well have it quilted.
I worked together with Heather to pick out a pattern that would dress up this ugly duckling and turn it into a swan. We were both really thrilled with the finished quilt!
I
used YLI "Natural" cotton thread, the digital quilting
design is called "Chinese Porcelain", and it is available from Intelligent Quilting, Inc. The flower patterns in the design mirrored the hydrangeas in the fabric.
Here are two photos of the quilting, on the front and back of the quilt.
Here is a short video of the quilt being digitally quilted with my Tin Lizzie
Ansley 26 quilting machine and Butler Perfect Stitch computerized system. Maximize the

The size of this quilt is approximately 57" x 70", and the cost for my services was $76.58, which included a set up fee, digital edge-to-edge quilting, and thread. Heather provided her own batting. If she had purchased it from me, it would have been an additional $17.50 for Warm and White cotton batting, or $14.00 for Pellon cotton batting. And the quilt was finished and ready to be picked up in only a couple of days!
