This twin size quilt, brought in by Heather, is a nice twist on the standard Nine Patch, and the contrasting blues and white are so striking!
I
used YLI "White" cotton thread.
The digital quilting
design is called "Van Gogh", and is available from Anne Bright Designs. I love the irregular swirls, so reminiscent of Van Gogh's painting, "Starry Night".
Here are some photos of the quilting process.
Now quilted, and the quilt is ready for Heather to sew on the binding.
Here is a short video of the quilt being digitally quilted with my Tin Lizzie
Ansley 26 quilting machine and Butler Perfect Stitch computerized system. Maximize the
screen to maximize your viewing pleasure!
The size of this quilt is approximately 72" x 89", and the cost for my services was $114.64, which included a set up fee, digital edge-to-edge quilting, and thread. Heather provided her own batting. If she had purchased it from me, it would have been an additional $21.67 for Warm and White cotton batting, or $17.34 for Pellon cotton batting. And the quilt was finished and ready to be picked up in only a few days!
