LONDON BLUES BY BECKY SEMEYN

This queen size quilt was brought in by my customer, Becky. It was a "Block of the Month", so it took a while to get it finished.

I used YLI "White" cotton thread.

The digital quilting design is called "Nemesh's Feather Grande", and is available from Urban Elementz. I love this pattern. It's one of my recent favorites!

Here are a few photos of the quilting process.

Here is Becky with her finished quilt, ready for binding.

Here is a short video of the quilt being digitally quilted with my Tin Lizzie Ansley 26 quilting machine and Butler Perfect Stitch computerized system. Maximize the screen to maximize your viewing pleasure!

The size of this quilt is approximately 96" x 96", and the cost for my services was $165.00, which included a set up fee, digital edge-to-edge quilting, and thread. Becky provided her own batting. The batting I sell is not wide enough - only 90" - so I would not have been able to sell Becky batting. And the quilt was finished and ready to be picked up in only a couple of days!

BUTTERFLY GARDEN BY HEATHER MCCARTHY

This full size quilt was brought to me by Heather, who made it as a retirement gift for a preschool teacher. The colors of the butterflies are the colors the children in her class learned, and the border fabrics all represent different subjects they studied in preschool.

I used YLI "Pastels" cotton thread. The digital quilting design is called "Nouveau Feathers", and it is available from Urban Elementz. I love this design because it adapts itself to different quilts by looking like water, like wind, like smoke, and even like a fox's tail on another quilt made by Heather that had a fox theme!

Here are a few photos of the quilting process.

And here is the finished quilt, after Heather attached the binding.

The size of this quilt is approximately 81" x 90", and the cost for my services was $128.46, which included a set up fee, digital edge-to-edge quilting, and thread. Heather provided her own batting. If she had purchased it from me, it would have been an additional $24.17 for Warm and White cotton batting, or $19.34 for Pellon cotton batting. And the quilt was finished and ready to be picked up in only a few days!

Here are a few photos of the quilting process.

I just finished this colorful wall hanging, which will celebrate Pumpkin Spice Season over my mantelpiece for the next three months.
